UVC light itself can be harmful to human as well, so PuriLight is designed to hold the UVC light ONLY in the container. If the container is not tightly closed, Sterilization Process won’t start.

There is three type of UV light. UVA(315~400nm) effects aging of human skin, UVB(280~315nm) burns the skin but helps us synthesize vitamin D, and UVC(100~280nm) that could destroy the molecular bonds that bonds the DNA of viruses and bacteria.
